American Idol Season 21 contestant Haven Madison shared some exciting news on social media this week. The young singer, who reached the Top 8 earlier this year, appears to have signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/BMG.
Haven Madison Has Signed a Record Deal
On Tuesday, Haven posted a series of photos to Instagram in which she can be seen posing in front of a backdrop that features the logos for BMG and BBR Music Group. In the caption, she wrote, “SIGNED, sealed, delivered.”
The singer tagged BBR, BMG, and 19 Recordings. In one photo Haven shared, she can been seen posing with fellow Season 21 finalist Colin Stough, who is also signed to 19 Recordings/BMG. Other Idol stars such as Season 20 runner-up HunterGirl are also signed to the label.
Haven also took to Instagram stories to share another shot from the celebration of her record deal, writing simply, “Grateful.” She added two emojis of a hand holding a pen, presumably to signify signing her contract.

The Singer Has Teased New Music
Since her time on American Idol earlier this year, Haven has been teasing new music with her fans on social media. On Tuesday, around the same time she announced her record deal, Haven posted a snippet of a song on TikTok.
The track is called “Kiss the Ground,” and Haven has been teasing it for months now. She sings, “You want the fashion I wear / Want the wave in my hair / You don’t wanna climb the stairs / That got me there / You want the view from my suite / Want the world at your feet / You shoulda brought heat / When you came for the queen.”
Earlier this week, Haven also shared a snippet of a song called “Walls,” which she said is “about my room being my only advocate because it sees my brokenness.” Hopefully we’ll be able to hear the full versions of these songs soon.
