Comedian Connor King is bringing his stand-up act to America’s Got Talent Season 17. Connor has been performing comedy from a young age, in cities such as Los Angeles and Chicago. He’s recently gained a following on TikTok.
Connor King Posts His Stand-Up Comedy on TikTok
According to his bio on the Laugh Factory website, Connor started performing stand-up comedy at 18 years old. After traveling the country and performing in Los Angeles, Connor settled in Chicago, becoming a feature act at Zanies Comedy Club.
Connor also created a weekly variety show at The Second City called The Chill as F*ck Show, and he’s worked as a musical director and pianist for sketch shows at iO Chicago. From his Instagram bio, Connor links to a form where fans can suggest what city he should perform in next.
The comedian has gained a following of over 125,000 on TikTok, where he posts brief clips from his stand-up performances. Examples include a bit about the creepy uncle stereotype, and another about wearing his sisters’ hand-me-downs.
Connor joked about his move to TikTok in a viral tweet from 2020, writing, “Comedians heading to tiktok is like everyone running to the life boats on the titanic. It was meant for women and children.”

Connor Is Auditioning for AGT Season 17
Connor’s sets touch on some risqué topics, and he often uses foul language. So it will be interesting to see how he might have adjusted his routine to audition for the more family-friendly America’s Got Talent. Will he censor himself or let the show’s bleep button do the work?
Interestingly, Connor doesn’t appear to have posted about his upcoming AGT appearance on social media. He’s up against a few other comedians who have already auditioned this season, including Mike E. Winfield, Aiko Tanaka, and Hayden Kristal.
