Now Doherty has said she has started organising her estate. She wouldn't want her mother to have problems with a huge number of things after her death.

"My mother is the priority at the moment. It will definitely be very hard for her if I die before her. And since that in itself will be very difficult, I try to help her a little. I don't want to leave her with a lot of things to do.

"I don't want her to have four warehouses full of furniture ," the 52-year-old said on her podcast.

The actress recently went to her home in Tennessee to finish packing her things. She revealed that she plans to sell some of them and give some to charity. Staying at home triggered strong emotions in her.

The 52-year-old remembered her dream from years ago. She mentioned that she planned to build a centre for abandoned horses.

"It was a really difficult and emotional experience. I felt like I was giving up on my dream of building this property. At one point while packing, I simply burst into tears. My mom was there with me and she told me not to get rid of this place," said an emotional Doherty.
